Our Community
A unique location blending style, comfort, and community
Our history
Nestled in the former gardens of 19th Century Brampton House, Cedar Hythe is a 1960s development that showcases distinctive architecture and preserves diverse trees. Proudly designated as an area of significant beauty and a unique architectural legacy.
Charming designs
Cedar Hythe's charm lies in its diverse dwellings, featuring four distinct designs that enrich the neighborhood. 27 strategically placed homes to minimize impact, and showcase a contemporary design with unique mono-pitched roofs and interesting plot layouts, set within the grounds of an ancient garden.
Progressive attitudes
Almost every dwelling within Cedar Hythe has undergone extensive development in a continual cycle since the 1960s. As the resident's needs have changed so have their homes and we believe that this adds to the warm and inviting nature of the community - constantly adapting for future generations.
Design Guidance
In February 2020 a 'design guide' for Cedar Hythe was incorporated into the existing Chapel Brampton Conservation Area. This design guide is classed as a Supplementary Planning Document (SPD); as such it is a material planning consideration in the determination of future planning applications.
